The Model 12XG Bio Fuel Centrifuge will process WVO into usable fuel for your oil burning heaters and diesel powered engines. You can filter WVO, motor and hydraulic oil for a fraction of the cost of diesel.
The 12XG can dewater and remove particulates down to 1 micron. We recommend straining your oil to 1000 microns to remove debris and large amounts of water prior to using the 12XG.
The centrifuge cleans oil by generating a centrifugal force 1,200 times greater than gravity. Speed of this centrifuge is 3450 rpm. The recommended GPH for automotive use is 5gph.
Comes standard with 110v, 10 amp, single phase. You have the option of a 220 volt, 3.8 amps. You will have to provide a power cord for the 220v.
The oil needs to be heated between 125-150 degrees F when processing the oil. The bowl holds approximately 1 quart. More than 1 pass is needed to bring the micron rating down to 1.
2 ports are located on the bottom of the centrifuge. One is the “clean oil” and the other is the “dirty oil” port. The port on the side of the housing is labeled “oil in” for continuous flow.
Cleaning the bowl will take approximately 10 minutes. Remove the lid, raise the inlet spout up and remove the hex nut and lift out the bowl for cleaning. You should clean the bowl when there is 1/8” sludge built up.
There is a 1 year warranty on the motor and 90 days on material and workmanship.
