FAQ's



1. What is the difference between the Deluxe & Base unit? The Deluxe Unit comes with a thermostatically controlled 1500w band heater & a surface mount thermometer; the Base Unit has the option of adding a 1100w band heater. The Deluxe Unit has an 18gpm pump with an internal bypass and is prewired with a 6 foot cord and on/off switch. The Base Unit has a 5gpm pump with a wiring junction box, ready to to be wired.

2. How long will the filter bags last? That all depends on the temperature of the oil, how dirty the oil is and what method you use to prefilter. The WVO should be 100-110ºF when filtered for the most efficient filtration. The oil should be allowed to settle at that temperature for 24 hours to allow the sediment to settle to the bottom of the drum. Depending on the above factors it is feasable to filter 200 gal thru a 5 micron filter bag. This will vary greatly with WVO quality and temperature.

3. How is water removed? Water is removed by allowing the oil to settle and having the oil at the recommended temperature for the suggested time. Heating the oil lowers the viscosity and allows the sediment and water to settle to the bottom where it can be drained using the lower drain valve. Heating the oil via the sides and not the bottom allows any settled material to stay on the bottom. The heating also allows for suspended water to evaporate from the drum.

4. Is there a Restocking fee? There will be a 20% re-stocking fee on all merchandise returned within 30 days of your invoice. The items must be unused; items which are received worn or used will not be accepted for return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Please call for a RMA #.

5. What is your Return policy? If you receive an item that does not work or is broken, please notify us within 10 business days of delivery and we will replace the item at no cost to the customer. You will be supplied with a return label. After 10 days, returns will be handled on an individual basis.

6. Why has my credit card not been charged? We do not charge your credit card until the day your order is shipped. The only exception is for special order items.

7. What types of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Money Orders, Business or Personal Checks. Orders paid with a check will not ship for 10 days.
